TSB Bank

66 London Rd, Morden SM4 5BB, UK – 020 8790 9982

Brilliant. They couldn't be more helpful. From Steve, the Manager, to the Counter People I felt they really valued me as a customer. Having just dealt with other financial companies I was frazzled, irate & just fed up from their unhelpful archaic methods. Then I go into the Morden branch of TSB, 60 London Rd, and my goodness what a difference. The manager came out from his office, saw there was a short queue, introduced himself apologised for the wait and offered to assist anyone who wasn't withdrawing funds. Offered tea/coffee & hey presto! queue cleared in short order. Then when my turn came the young lady again apologised for the wait and then dealt with all my requirements cheerfully & professionally. So a big thumbs up from me. This is how customers should be welcomed.

Natwest Bank

250 Wimbledon Park Rd, London SW19 6NL, UK – 0345 788 8444

Great local bank - has a village bank feel - friendly and helpful staff. A great pity that it will be closing for good in July 2018.

Convenient location with friendly staff. Doesn't have all the facilities you would expect, was hoping they would at least add a coin counter.

HSBC

5 Wimbledon Hill Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7NF, UK – 0345 740 4404

Came in to open a savings account, I am a foreigner and don’t know how the system works here. The woman was very respectful and did not rush me. They opened two new accounts for me for my savings and explained what I should use each one for. Each time I have gone in they have been lovely to deal with. Thank you!

Dental Surgeries

Dental Rooms

1 The Ridgway, Wimbledon, London SW19 4RS, UK – 020 8946 2426

Really pleased with the results, my teeth looked so much better than I ever thought they would and also saw results more quickly than I expected. Dental rooms were always helpful and supportive and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their smile. Thank you.

Pretty good, no problems beyond the fairly minor thing. I've had quite a lot of fillings done here over the years and I've found the service to be very professional. Bear in mind this is quite an expensive place and I don't think they offer anything on the NHS.

Ridgway Dental

71 The Ridgway, Wimbledon, London SW19 4SS, UK – 020 8946 2255

I had 2 fillings with Dr Elaine. That was a very pleasant experience. I didn't have any pain, any discomfort. I didn't feel the injection at all. She was very professional and knowledgeable. My fillings look great!! Thank you to the nurse Angelica as well.

I feel very welcomed every time I go in to the reception. Everyone in the practice are so friendly and always smilling. I really enjoy going there, even though dental treatment is never a nice thing to do. :-) J

Francis Grove Surgery

8 Francis Grove, Wimbledon, London SW19 4DL Francis Grove, Wimbledon, London SW19 4DL, UK – 020 8971 5640

Been my main GP's for a while now. They are great when it comes to on the day appointments, however, admin isn't great and following up on a regular basis if you havnt received something will probably jog their memory.

It's a modern building that looks good but the staff are unorganized

Trevelyan House Surgery

Trevelyan House, 160 Tooting High St, Tooting, London SW17 0RT, UK – 020 3883 5700

This is an amazing surgery with amazing staff both in reception and the clinician. They all do the best they can with what is made available to them. due to there amazing service, patient have become more demanding and rude and expect what ever they want to be done straight away. the reception are so friendly and helpful and work to the best of there capability with what is made available to them by there seniors. what patient need to realize is the reception are only capable of certain things with out having to go to a doctor. doctors are normally busy as-well so it wont be possible to immediately sort a query, especially in a surgery of this size.

I have had the same doctor for 17 years, he is excellent, unfortunately since the practice expanded I usually get given any available doctors for regular medication reviews even when I ask for mine I'm told that for routine appointments any doctor or pharmacist is appropriate(all seem perfectly good doctors) but this lack of continuity has caused problems. Reception service is hit and miss depending on who is on duty and what pressures they are under generally- just like any other business. I think they do the best they can given the growing pressures on the NHS generally. If at all possible see your own doctor for all appointments and make routine appointments well in advance of when they are due.

Brocklebank Group Practice

249 Garratt Ln, London SW18 4DU, UK – 020 3818 8270

I absolutely love this GP. I have been coming here for over a year and have consistently had phenomenal care. The doctors show such a high degree of thoughtfulness and compassion and the I have never had any issues with receiving expedient and proper care. Thank you for your hard and excellent work guys!!

In my time at Brocklebank Group Practice I have had some good doctors and amazing Doctors. Unfortunately I have just had the rudest telephone consultation ever. I felt like my situation didn't mater, it was all my fault and he had no time what so ever as like i was under him. Not professional at all. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name due to the experience I have just witnessed.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

Rubbish Clearance West London

21D Linstead Way, London SW18 5QA, UK – 07377 404696

Great service, on time, trustworthy. We had a lot of rubbish to get rid of when we did the refurbishment and Janus was helping me personally to load the van. Used his service twice already and will be in the future. Highly recommended.

Great work guys! They visited my backyard and collected all rubbish in less then 2 hours!

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Wimbledon

Jimmy's Restaurants

122 The Broadway, London SW19 1RH, UK – 020 8417 0444

We visited here for on last Saturday night for dinner. This place serves a buffet if food food from different countries: Indian, US other Asian foods. Some of the food includes curries, kebabs, burgers, Nachos and sushi.Great choice, good value and pretty good quality for a buffet. Can be a bit busy and noisy unless you sit by the entrance which is quieter. Could have better table service for drinks.Overall Loved the choice of food available, and most of it was very tasty. Some of the food was cold and would of expected better quality for the money paid, but General it was a nice, visit staff were friendly.

After last refurbishment place look much better. Good service, kind staff but not all food very tasty. Chinese section would need improvement. Enjoyed Indian selection. Would be also nice to see more variety of fruit and fresh vegetable dishes low salt and spice. Overall thank you for experience.

Bill's Wimbledon Restaurant

20 Hartfield Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 3TA, UK – 020 8947 8285

I do like Bill's. This restaurant is hidden off the main high street, it's really large and we've never had to book a table. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My only comment would be that it's sometimes hard to get the staffs attention. They seem to change shift but don't tell you so your waiter vanishes and you end up waiting for them to turn up again, when actually they have left!

Came here for dinner : and what a dinner it was. Very nice ambiance with pretty decorations. Professional service. Delicious food - ordered buttermilk burger, curry, cauliflower steak (my dish pictured). Watermelon juice was a great choice for the beverage. Good selection of meals for vegetarians and vegans!
